Yearning for a journey back to primeval times? Yes, of course! Right amidst the scenic Tirolean mountains where you find the mighty Steinplatte massif, the whole area was covered with water some 250 million years ago. No, it was not a broken water pipe but the giant, primeval Tethys Ocean! All mountain peaks were part of a fantastic underwater world boasting an incredible richness of fauna and flora.

As the Ocean dried up a long time ago, the rocks and stone formations within the entire region hide many little secrets trapped in the boulders. Nowadays they are called "fossils". And do you know who will search for them? Exactly, it's your job!

The TRIASSIC adventure starts in the foothills of the Steinplatte massif

At the base terminal of the mountain gondola a kind of Tethys Ocean creates a very special atmosphere... Measure-made gondolas with underwater designs take you and your family on top of the peak.

The wonderful Triassic Park features the Triassic Center, a Triassic Beach and the Triassic Trail.
